On March 27, 2025, the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University was visited by more than 50 students of the Lypiv Lyceum of the Tysmenytsia City Council. The students were accompanied by the Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Lypiv Lyceum, Ostash Oksana Vasylivna, and the practical psychologist, Ihor Hural.
The event was moderated by the Head of Laboratories of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Yaroslav Yavorsky, who told the students about the structure of the faculty and its material and technical base.
Responsible for the career guidance work of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics, Volodymyr Hryga, presented a presentation report to the students on the structure of the University and its ratings, listed the list of specialties in which double diplomas can be obtained in higher education institutions of the European Union, demonstrated scholarship opportunities for higher education applicants, listed the list of specialties and educational programs in which higher education applicants are trained, and spoke about the conditions for admission in 2025.
The Head of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science, Professor Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi, spoke to the students, who told the students that the University was created for education applicants who must work hard and daily on themselves for the development of the future of our state. Volodymyr Olehovych emphasized that knowledge of foreign languages, in particular English, opens up unique opportunities and prospects for future work in prestigious companies in Ukraine and the world for applicants, and also gave examples of successful graduates of the Faculty of Physics and Technology who have achieved significant results while working in well-known international companies.
The students also had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of the structural divisions of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, where the heads of the structural divisions and scientific and pedagogical staff of the faculty demonstrated unique physical equipment and experimental installations, conducted interesting master classes on determining the elemental composition of objects, demonstrated the work of “smart systems”, electronic and digital microscopes and 3D printing equipment.
The students visited many interesting locations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, in particular, they visited the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNUEcoSystem”, large lecture halls, the University Museum, the Assembly Hall, the Scientific Library and sports halls.
The administration of the Faculty of Physics and Technology and the heads of structural units sincerely thank the management of the Lypiv Lyceum of the Tysmenytsia City Council, teachers and students for their visit and wish them further fruitful cooperation in educational activities.
