The Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics received educational equipment from the IT company GlobalLogic

On February 17, 2025, the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics received 5 modules of StarterKit STM32F407G-D1SC1 debugging boards based on STM32F407 microcontrollers from the IT company GlobalLogic.

The IT company GlobalLogic and Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in May 2024 signed an agreement on partnership and business cooperation in the educational sphere.

It is worth noting that GlobalLogic was founded in 2000 and is an outsourcing private company that develops software products in such areas as healthcare, automotive, telecommunications, media, financial services, retail, security, construction, semiconductors, etc. Today, GlobalLogic has 32,000+ specialists in 23 countries, 6,000+ of which are in Ukraine.

The debug boards will be used in the educational process of educational-professional and educational-scientific programs that prepare higher education applicants of the KIE department.

The STM32F407G-D1SC1 debug board contains: an STM32F407VGT6 microcontroller from STMicroelectronics with a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 core; a 3-axis ST MEMS accelerometer; a digital microphone with an ST-MEMS sound sensor; an ST-LINK/V2-A built-in programmer; buttons; 8 LEDs and supports a wide range of integrated development environments (IDE), including IAR Embedded Workbench, MDK-ARM and STM32CubeIDE.
