On November 12, a webinar on the topic: “Introduction to embedded systems: industry opportunities” was held for students of higher education at the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. Svitlana Stanko, an employee of the IT company GlobalLogic, was the speaker of the webinar. The meeting took place in a mixed format on the basis of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU Eco-System”.
In May 2024, the GlobalLogic IT company and Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University signed an agreement on partnership and business cooperation in the educational field.

During the webinar, Svitlana Stanko emphasized the importance of creating and implementing embedded systems and presented their main types used in various industries, namely autonomous, network, mobile and real-time systems. The speaker revealed the main technologies of development of embedded systems, special attention was focused on the choice of programming language and operating system. In the presentation report, the speaker of the webinar gave a significant number of examples of ready-made solutions developed by GlobalLogic in the field of embedded systems, namely robotic systems, media and advertising, medical equipment, security and health care systems, software for mobile equipment, the automotive industry, etc. It is extremely important that GlobalLogic engineers developed a management system for managing and configuring the AllBionics bionic prosthesis and created a web-based platform for applying for prosthetics.
The meeting took place in an extremely warm and friendly atmosphere, the students learned a lot of interesting information in the field of creation and implementation of embedded systems in various industries and received comprehensive answers to the questions.
