Career guidance meeting with students of Starolisetsky Lyceum

On October 21, 2025, the lecturers of the Department of Computer Engineering at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University conducted an off-site career guidance event at the Starolysets Lyceum of the Lysets Village Council in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics, Volodymyr Mykhailovych Hryha, introduced the lyceum’s students and teachers to information about the national and international rankings of the University. He provided a detailed overview of the structure of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, listed the educational and professional programs and specialties offered at the bachelor’s level by the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics, and spoke about unique scholarship opportunities for students as well as the possibilities of studying under double-degree programs.
Students of grades 10 and 11 were also informed about available government grants and the conditions for obtaining them, with particular attention given to specialties that receive special state support. Ninth-grade students learned about the educational programs and admission requirements of the Ivano-Frankivsk Professional College, which is part of the University structure.
Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics, Taras Hryhorovych Benko, told the students about the specifics of studying under the educational program “Computer Design of Integrated Circuits” and the high demand for specialists in the fields of electronics, telecommunications, instrumentation, and radio engineering in Ukraine.
The meeting took place in an exceptionally warm and friendly atmosphere. The students learned a lot of interesting information about the University, the educational and professional programs of the Faculty of Physics and Technology and its facilities, the specifics of studying, international activities, and future employment opportunities.
