At the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year, the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics of the Faculty of Physics and Technology at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University received a substantial batch of computer equipment. This important contribution became possible thanks to the cooperation between GlobalLogic Ukraine LLC and the charitable organization “Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC Charitable Foundation.”
The donated equipment, which includes modern computers and monitors, is aimed at significantly upgrading the material and technical base of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics. This enhancement will ensure a higher-quality educational process that meets the current demands of the IT market. Modern hardware is critically important for conducting laboratory work, practical classes, extracurricular activities, and the implementation of student projects in the field of computer engineering and electronics.
University representatives emphasized the importance of this initiative, noting that support from businesses and charitable organizations plays a crucial role in the development of higher education—especially under the conditions of wartime challenges. GlobalLogic Ukraine LLC, as one of the leaders of the Ukrainian IT sector, demonstrates its social responsibility by investing in the training of highly qualified specialists. This partnership contributes to strengthening the educational potential of the region.
The “Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC Charitable Foundation” acted as a logistical and organizational partner, ensuring the successful delivery of the necessary equipment to the university. This gesture reaffirms that the foundation’s humanitarian mission includes supporting the field of education.
The university administration and the academic staff of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics express their sincere gratitude to the administration of the “Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC Charitable Foundation” (Director – Father Volodymyr Chorniy, Deputy Director – Nataliya Kozakevych, Acting Chief Accountant – Khrystyna Korzhyk) and to GlobalLogic Ukraine LLC (Director – Anna Shcherbakova, Program Coordinator & CSR Specialist – Khrystyna Denys, and L&D University & Education Programs Specialist – Maryana Buchiy) for the donated equipment and their significant contribution to ensuring high-quality education for future engineers in the field of information technology and electronics.
