As part of the All-Ukrainian project “Iron Change”, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University was once again visited by 60 talented students from all over Ukraine. “Iron Change” is an educational camp that helps children and teenagers of our country develop in science, technology and teamwork.
The organizers of the lectures, practical trainings and master classes were: the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Physics and Technology.
During two days, the participants had the opportunity to: attend interactive trainings, create their own business models in teams, experiment, research and discover new horizons of scientific knowledge, as well as acquire practical skills in physics, electronics and computer engineering.
Scientific and pedagogical workers of the Faculty of Physics and Technology – Associate Professor of the Department of Physics and Astronomy Halyna Voytkiv, organized interesting physical experiments on electricity and magnetism, mechanics and molecular physics for the guests, demonstrated an interesting training with virtual and augmented reality glasses to the students, and Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics Volodymyr Hryga and Master of the Computer Engineering educational program Vitaliy Martyniuk conducted a number of practical trainings for the students on programming embedded computer systems based on microcontrollers and programmable logic integrated circuits and demonstrated working with a digital microscope in the field of electronics.
Students with great interest and with extraordinary enthusiasm took part in the university event, which gave the participants new knowledge, opportunities to create their own business models, practical skills of teamwork, incredible motivation and a charge of creative energy to achieve future goals in education.
